Celebrating the county with cake!

The county’s 175th Anniversary Committee invites all local residents to enjoy a piece of (birthday) cake on February 14! School cafeterias, restaurants, group living centers, individuals–everyone is encouraged to celebrate our 175th with cake and then send us a picture to post on this FB page!
The United Way of Auglaize County is hosting a 175th birthday celebration for Auglaize County at the courthouse and administration building. Volunteers will be serving pieces of cake to help celebrate the county’s actual birthday. Serving from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., cake servings are free to all. The United Way will accept free-will donations to benefit the non-profit agencies with whom we partner, agencies that help serve the under-served throughout the county.
Our mission to unite the caring power of the community echoes the county’s ‘great past, greater future’ theme.
Let us all eat cake on February 14!
