An artivist/craftivist centered art show hosted by The Riverside Art Center in Wapakoneta, Ohio to explore how art fosters community, creates resilience, and illustrates the human experience.We are accepting submissions that celebrate empathy, inclusion, compassion, diversity, and change for a better future.
This show is open to all mediums, including visual, written, and performance art. There will be a reception on opening day for performance pieces. Artists may submit up to three finished works or project proposals. Proposed projects must be completed by April 26th. Submission does not guarantee acceptance.
Selected artists/works will be notified by March 29th. Selected pieces must be prepared for display (i.e. hardware for hanging, etc. No sawblade hangers.) prior to collection.
Schedule for the show:
May 3 – Opening day! Soft open 10am-2pm, Reception/Performance Times 5pm-7pm (refreshments provided!)
May 4 – Open Art/Craft In 2pm-5pm
May 5 – Exhibit open 2pm-5pm
May 6 – Final Exhibit day, Open 4pm-7pm
