Meet the staff and volunteer leadership serving the Wapakoneta Area Economic Development Council.
Joshua J Bloomfield joined WAEDC as executive director in January of 2024 and is committed to continuing the collaborative effort of the public-private partnership focused on enhancing the economic well-being and success of the Wapakoneta area. Josh is a graduate of Shawnee High School and the University of Toledo and got his start in development working on the Crossroads of Northwest Ohio project in Cridersville, Ohio.
Natalie S. Bice is a Certified Public Accountant and IRS Enrolled Agent. She serves as an Accounting Manager with J M Green & Associates and Business Services Manager of WAJ Management Co., with experience in federal tax consulting, accounting for income taxes, and tax compliance.
Michael A. Burton is a partner with Jauert & Burton LLP. His practice focuses on estate administration, Medicaid and elder-law planning, commercial, probate, domestic, and municipal litigation, and real estate, tax, and debt-resolution matters. He is a member of the Ohio and Auglaize County Bar Associations and has served local community organizations.
Alan Davis is a financial-services professional with more than 35 years of experience. He focuses on helping clients prepare for risk and protect their financial futures with a team of specialists supporting insurance, employee-benefit, and risk-management needs.
Chad Doll is a high school social studies teacher, department chair, and quiz-bowl coach at St. Marys Memorial High School. He earned degrees from Miami University and Bluffton University and serves in education and community leadership roles.
Andrew Farley is a Senior Vice President and Regional Executive for The State Bank and Trust Co. He has assisted business-banking relationships in the Wapakoneta region with conventional and government loan and account programs to help grow or start business activity.
Mark Jarvis is President and owner of The Building Company of Wapakoneta and Mark R. Jarvis Management Company. He has also worked in commercial and industrial real estate and serves in a range of local education, banking, and economic-development leadership roles.
Lonnie Pedersen is Chief Operating Officer at TSC, Wapakoneta’s local telecommunications provider. He has a long history in telecommunications and serves in leadership roles with local and industry organizations.
Ryan Place has been licensed to sell real estate since 2005, with experience in residential, investment, commercial, and agricultural real estate. He founded Merritt Real Estate Professionals in 2012.
Erica Preston is the County Administrator for Auglaize County. She is a Wapakoneta native, attorney, and graduate of Ohio Northern University who has served in regional community and professional leadership roles.
Aaron Rex is Superintendent of Wapakoneta City Schools. He has worked as a teacher, coach, and administrator in the school system and is active in local civic and service organizations.
Andrew Thornbury is President of Miller’s Textile Services, where he leads with a focus on operational excellence, people development, and servant leadership. He is active in the communities and industries where he lives and works and has served on several boards.

Lindsey Young serves as Executive Director of the Wapakoneta Area Chamber of Commerce. Her background includes management, human resources, public relations, insurance, and community development, with a focus on partnerships and initiatives that benefit local businesses and the community.
